Review by hotel critic
My recent stay at All Seasons Country Lodge offered a refreshing opportunity for relaxation. Nestled amidst serene landscapes, I enjoyed the tranquil environment while also appreciating the convenient access to nearby amenities. Although breakfast wasn’t included and I missed a screen door for fresh air, the kitchenette allowed for easy meal prep after a trip to the local Woolworths. The highlights of my stay included the inviting outdoor pool area and a lovely hot tub that provided a perfect spot for unwinding after a day of exploration. The enjoyable evening spent seated outside, soaking in the sunset over the hills, was a delightful end to my day. The accommodations, while requiring a face-lift, featured fresh linens and a newly renovated bathroom that felt surprisingly upscale. I found the soundproofed room to be a significant advantage, as it provided respite from any outside noise. All Seasons offers a valuable balance of essential comforts and a peaceful setting—ideal for weary travelers seeking a brief escape. The price point of around $150 per night makes it a reasonable choice for those passing through.
